Black Forest & Seed Pancakes

These Black Forest Seed Pancakes are a delicious and hearty breakfast option. Made with Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix and packed with chia seeds flax seeds and cocoa powder they’re a nutritious and tasty way to start your day.

2 cups Krusteaz® Buttermilk Pancake Mix
1½ cups Water
2 tsp Black sesame seeds
½ cup Small cubed Black Forest ham
¼ cup Finely chopped scallions
Topping Sour cream and scallions
STEP 1

Preheat griddle to 375°F (medium heat). Lightly grease.

STEP 2

In medium bowl, whisk together Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix and water until blended. (Batter will be lumpy.) Fold in remaining ingredients. Pour slightly less than ¼ cup batter per pancake onto prepared griddle.

STEP 3

Cook 1 ¼ - 1 ½ minutes per side or until golden brown, turning only once. Top with scallions and sour cream.
