1 pouch Krusteaz Chocolate Brownie Batter
16 whole Strawberries, washed, dried and with leafy tops cut off
Whipped cream or white frosting
STEP 1

Heat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 8x8-inch baking pan.

STEP 2

Cut pouch open at dotted line.

STEP 3

Squeeze batter into prepared pan and spread evenly.

STEP 4

Bake for 33-37 minutes. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting or removing from the pan.

STEP 5

Cut the brownies into 16 squares, each measuring 2x2 inches. Alternatively, you can use a 1 1/2-inch round biscuit cutter to cut the brownies into circular shapes.

STEP 6

Top each brownie square with a dollop of whipped cream or frosting. Place a strawberry on top, with the pointed end facing up. Add a small dollop of cream or frosting to the tip of the strawberry to create a Santa hat.

Repurpose brownie scraps by crumbling them up to use as a delicious topping for ice cream sundaes.
